The ABC is a major global event in the industry with delegates attending from over 65 countries, representing over 300 companies.
As the world confronts the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, organisers have announced the 19th Asian Battery Conference and Exhibition (19ABC) has been rescheduled to 2 –5 November 2021 from its original publicised dates of August 31–September 2021.
THis was done to to ensure the safety and well-being of attendees, partners and staff, and the 19th event will be no different. With the concerns over COVID-19 around the globe, the organising committee has decided to reschedule the 19ABC and 7ISLC events. Our aim with the change of date is to deliver these major meetings in their usual live and dynamic format.
Mark Stevenson, event chairman, said: "By shifting the dates out by two months, we hope for the world to be in a better place with Covid-19 and we head towards some normality. The date change maximises the opportunity that we can all come together for a truly great event in the safest possible way."
Organisers are continually monitoring the situation, and in the event, Covid-19 continues to be a global health concern and continues to disrupt international travel we will take the necessary action to ensure the safety of attendees remains our priority.
1. Exhibitors and sponsors can continue to reserve exhibition space at the event. Organisers will reserve preferred booth positions and sponsorship packages and send formal confirmations and invoices only once certain Covid-19 will not cause the requirement to totally cancel the event.
2. Call for Papers will open in December 2020
