Lead-acid and lithium-ion battery maker Clarios has hired Mark Wallace, as the company’s new president and chief executive officer.
Wallace joined Clarios— formerly Johnson Controls Power Solutions— on 18 May and succeeds interim CEO John Barkhouse, who will continue as chair of the board.
Wallace was the executive vice president and president of commercial vehicle drive and motion systems at US firm Dana.
Earlier this month Clarios announced it was going to close its controversial Middletown, Delaware, assembly plant later this year. The Middletown Distribution Centre will continue operations.
