Bavarian Varta Storage has taken the opportunity to unveil its latest lithium-ion storage system, as well as exhibit its entire storage portfolio at this year’s Intersolar Europe.
The company presented two new systems as part of its home storage offering: the ‘engion element 3’has a nominal battery capacity of 3.2 kWh and a system power of 1600 W, while ‘engion element 6’ offers a capacity of 6.4 kWh and 2000W.
Both systems consist of an integrated inverter, batteries and an energy management system.
Described as a product for beginners, the system can be configured and managed from a laptop, and comes with an online portal for the tracking of energy consumption.
Much like Tesla’s Powerwall, customers get the chance to choose among an array of different colours.
