A partnership to expand energy storage projects in Malaysia has been launched by German battery storage developer 21st Century Clean Energy and a subsidiary of Malaysian renewables firm Cypark Resources.
Cypark said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with 21st Century— the agent in Malaysia for German lithium battery storage system firm Tesvolt.
Under the terms of the extendable two-year agreement, the firms will collaborate on a feasibility study to set up renewable energy facilities and develop battery energy storage projects in the southeast Asian nation.
