‘Lead-acid recycling plant bid gets green light’

Proposals to build a multi-million-dollar lead-acid battery recycling plant in eastern Australia have reportedly been given the go-ahead.

An application by Pymore Recyclers International (PRI) to invest AUD39.8 million ($31.9m) in the project, in an industrial zone at Kurri Kurri, in the state of New South Wales, has been granted by the state’s planning and environment department, the Maitland Mercury said.
