German utility banks on Tesvolt for storage

German lithium BESS firm Tesvolt has been selected as the large commercial energy storage systems provider by north German utility Wemag.

Wemag has already started distributing Tesvolt’s systems across the country under the partnership, Tesvolt said.

Partnership targets Malaysia’s energy storage market

A partnership to expand energy storage projects in Malaysia has been launched by German battery storage developer 21st Century Clean Energy and a subsidiary of Malaysian renewables firm Cypark Resources.

Cypark said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with 21st Century— the agent in Malaysia for German lithium battery storage system firm Tesvolt.

New container system set to shine at Intersolar

Storage system manufacturer TESVOLT plans to unveil its new lithium battery storage container at Intersolar 2017 (Munich, 31 May to 2 June 2017).

The TESVOLT Power Storage (TPS) employs a new container module which offers highly flexible installation inside “challenging environments” such as factories and barns or outdoors, and also protects the storage unit from external influences.

Tesvolt and Samsung SDI to unveil new lithium cell

German energy storage firm Tesvolt has teamed up with Korean cell manufacturer Samsung SDI on a new high voltage lithium-ion battery.

The battery contains Samsung SDI’s new prismatic lithium cells, which were recently introduced into BMW’s electric cars.
