Netherlands-based AEG Power Solutions has announced the launch of a wireless battery management system for large energy storage applications.
The system, called MoniStore, is designed for use in storage systems featuring lead-acid or Ni-Cd batteries. Wireless communication allows for safe electrical isolation and monitoring of large battery systems with more than 300 single cells connected in series, AEG said.
