Allye Energy has secured its largest order to date, confirming five MAX500 BESS for deployment in the construction sector.
The units, worth over £1m ($1.34m), will provide zero-emission charging for heavy equipment and vehicles where grid access is limited.
The MAX500 BESS (500kWh and 420kW) are the first in Allye’s portfolio to feature integrated DC fast recharging, enabling mobile-to-mobile charging and rapid redeployment.
Construction sites often face severe grid constraints, making fixed charging impractical. Allye’s mobile systems bring power directly to equipment, eliminating diesel generator emissions while maintaining productivity.
With the MAX500, Allye now offers four systems spanning 300kWh to 1.5MWh, addressing diverse applications from events and film production to grid-scale resilience.
“This order marks a watershed moment for Allye Energy,” said Alistair McNeil, COO of Allye Energy. “The MAX500 solves one of construction electrification’s most challenging problems: keeping heavy equipment charged and productive across sprawling sites. Our mobile battery systems bring charging infrastructure to the equipment, maintaining productivity whilst eliminating emissions.”
