US-based Alsym Energy has launched its Na-Series range of sodium-ion batteries, designed to deliver high performance and enhanced safety for stationary energy storage applications.
The new technology offers a non-flammable alternative to lithium-ion, targeting commercial, industrial and utility-scale applications.
“The Na-Series is the result of our team’s commitment to developing the best battery for the critical needs of the stationary storage sector,” said Mukesh Chatter, co-founder and CEO of Alsym Energy. “Energy storage systems have high energy concentrations and are expected to perform reliably under a wide range of conditions, for years and years. Our batteries are exactly what is needed by the market right now, and can deliver peace of mind to homeowners, businesses, communities, and grid operators who are eagerly seeking safe and reliable energy storage solutions.”
Alsym Energy’s Na-Series sodium-ion batteries offer enhanced safety, extended cycle life and broad operating temperature tolerance – without compromising energy density. Engineered with a proprietary sodium-ion chemistry, the cells are manufactured using non-FEOC-sourced materials, providing integrators and OEMs with a secure, supply-resilient alternative to conventional lithium-based systems.
The company is progressing its commercialisation roadmap in collaboration with strategic partners, and is actively inviting new stakeholders to support the global deployment of safer, cost-effective sodium-ion energy storage solutions.
