Australian zinc bromide flow battery company Redflow Limited has appointed Frédéric Ridou as its sales manager for Europe.
German-based Ridou role will be to increase sales of Redflow’s flow batteries across Europe.
Ridou has moved from French firm Saft, where he was the energy storage systems sales manager in Nuremberg.
He has track record in smartgrid and renewables applications.
Redflow chief executive officer Stuart Smith said: “In addition to residential systems, the distributed generation and commercial markets will also be targeted in Europe with applications ranging from several kWh to MWh. “
RedFlow is one of the first companies to install fully operational zinc-bromide modules (ZBMs) into stationary energy applications.
