Bahrain’s Kanoo Power Solutions has entered into a partnership with critical power provider Emerson Network Power, with an eye on capturing a slice of the country’s growing data centre cake.
Following the deal, Kanoo Power Solutions has become a certified distributor of Emerson Network Power’s comprehensive data centre portfolio, offering AC and DC power, as well as cooling and racks
In broadening its data centre capability, Kanoo will distribute the full range of Emerson’s UPS and power distribution units, as well as precision cooling units, racks, rack cabinets and enclosures.
The Middle East and Africa market comprised $1.3 billion of Emerson Network Power’s sales in 2012, equivalent to 5%.
