Battery separators company Entek has announced that Richard Towns (pictured) has joined its sales group as account manager for Eastern Europe & North Africa.
The announcement on 26 March came on the same day it was confirmed Steve Gerts, the company’s sales and marketing manager for Eastern Europe and North Africa, was due to retire at the end of June.
Gerts has been with the Oregon, US, supplier to the lead and lithium-ion battery industry for more than 23 years.
Clint Beutelschies, vice president of Global Sales at Entek, said: “We are fortunate to have found such an accomplished professional and I am delighted to have Richard join our global sales team.”
Entek is an innovator and leading world-wide designer and producer of microporous polyethylene battery separators for lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.
