The new battery testing service launched earlier this year by Batteries & Energy Storage Technology (BEST) magazine and Energy Storage Publishing has completed its first project test schedule.
BESTmag technical editor, Dr Mike McDonagh, reports back on the Project 1 test schedule in the autumn edition of the magazine— which is out now.
The first project involved a determination of 12V 100Ah flooded lead-acid monobloc leisure batteries for solar energy storage and comparison with lithium-ion 12V 100Ah batteries.
