BMW Group will offer a co-branded version of CTEK’s CS ONE Gen. 2 battery charger through selected aftermarket channels.
Swedish battery charging equipment manufacturer CTEK has agreed to supply its CS ONE Gen. 2 charger for inclusion in BMW Group’s aftermarket portfolio in selected markets. The Swedish firm did not disclose order volumes or the financial value of the agreement.
The CS ONE Gen. 2 uses the company’s APTO adaptive charging technology to identify the type and size of a battery before automatically selecting a charging programme. It does not require the user to select a charging mode.
The device supports 12V lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries and can connect to the CTEK app by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The app allows users to monitor charging progress and access additional functions through a smartphone.

CTEK said the charger would be suitable across BMW Group’s vehicle range and could help users maintain battery performance and extend battery life.
The company, which was established in Dalarna, Sweden, more than 25 years ago, manufactures consumer battery chargers, boosters, professional workshop equipment and EV charging systems. Its products are sold in more than 70 countries and supplied as original equipment to more than 50 vehicle manufacturers.
The company launched the second-generation CS ONE in January 2026, adding Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth and over-the-air software updates to the original charger.
