Caterpillar has entered a five-year agreement with Singapore-based APac Energy Rental Pte Ltd. to develop temporary power solutions for the international power projects market.
APac said the agreement would allow the company to strengthen its market position by offering power solutions from Caterpillar, supported by the Cat dealer network. Shaun Cockman, CEO of APac, said: “This agreement is the beginning of a new growth strategy for APac, leveraging our cover in Asia Pacific, Caterpillar’s products and the support of the Cat dealer network.”
APac is an international company, based in Singapore, providing international power projects globally. They will collaborate with Cat dealers to share their local know-how and expertise within the five-year project.
Meanwhile, Perkins has appointed Secodi Finland Oy as their new distribution partner in Finland and Estonia. Based in Vantaa, Finland, Secodi Finland Oy will have responsibility for managing all Perkins engines, parts and product support activities in their territories.
