Cummins Power Generation is to provide prime power to a data centre and 16-story office complex for the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in Bangladesh. Cummins are providing not just generator sets, but a complete power solution with a single source of power supply.
Cummins is handling the integration and support for five C1675 D5A generator sets, two C330 D5 generator sets and a DMC master control unit. The whole solution integrates with the building’s power management software.
The company already has proven high horsepower (HHP) installations throughout the Asia Pacific region including Bangladesh, which combined with fuel savings over competitors’, helped seal the deal.
The order was awarded to distributor Jakson International Limited, Dhaka through the contractor Tecnotrade International Limited, who will work in partnership with Cummins.
The DSE is the main stock exchange in the country, located in Motijheel at the heart of the Dhaka.
