Custom lithium battery pack design and manufacturing firm Steatite Limited, has signed a European distribution agreement with large format lithium-ion manufacturer Beckett Energy Systems (BES).
UK firm Steatite will now provide BES’s 24Vdc lithium-ion battery pack module, for energy storage and remote power applications in Marine and Defence Markets.
The batteries are modular in design and are scalable from 1-100 kWh of capacity. Beckett’s 1.1Kwh modules use Boston-Power cells.
Commercially launched in February 2014, Beckett’s 24Vdc lithium-ion battery module has undergone continuous life cycle testing, recently reaching 3,650 cycles.
