At RE+ 2025, Desay Battery showcased a comprehensive suite of new energy storage products, placing battery safety and system intelligence at the forefront.
The global energy storage provider introduced its active-safety cell and system technology, designed to detect and prevent risks such as overcharging, short circuits, and lithium plating through real-time monitoring and AI-enabled architecture.
The company said that it built the platform on extensive experimental data and correlation analysis, highlighting its advanced temperature-pressure sensing and corrosion-resistant sensors. These innovations form the ‘data triangle’ of voltage, temperature and pressure, powering Desay’s next-generation battery management system (BMS). Integrated with EMS and cloud-based AI, the system enhances cooling, charging precision, and overall efficiency.
Desay also launched a diverse range of lithium and sodium battery products, including 100Ah, 280Ah and 314Ah lithium cells, a 60Ah sodium cell, modular systems, and integrated storage cabinets ranging from 215kWh to 344kWh. Larger-scale offerings include a 5MWh liquid-cooled containerised solution, UPS cabinets, and household storage systems tailored for critical infrastructure and residential use.
A standout feature highlighted at the exhibition was Desay’s approach to data centre energy demand, combining photovoltaic generation with advanced storage to reduce levelised costs to 0.25 RMB/kWh and cut peak expenses by up to 79%.
The company also announced a strategic partnership with Shenzhen Hello Tech Energy, aiming to expand global reach through joint innovation and supply chain collaboration.
