German battery formation and test specialists Digatron Power Electronics has appointed Norbert Hempsch in the newly-created position of vice-president for global sales & marketing.
Before joining Digatron, Hempsch was responsible for the organizational development of Middle East-Africa market operations for SIG Combibloc, one of the world’s leading system suppliers of carton packaging and filling machines for beverages and food.
In a statement, Digatron said that Hempsch will be responsible for the direction and management of the global corporate group sales and marketing activities. Digatron said the appointment strengthens the German firm’s international sales approach.
“With yet a further expansion Digatron strengthens its global sales and service network to provide customers its known high quality products and service in each region of the world,” said Kevin Campbell, vice-president of international business development.
