US battery manufacturer Dragonfly Energy has been named Clean Energy Impact Brand of the Year at the Charge North America 2026 awards.
The recognition was awarded through the company’s flagship consumer brand Battle Born Batteries, which focuses on lithium battery systems used in mobile and distributed energy applications.
The Charge awards recognise companies demonstrating environmental impact, innovation and leadership in energy-sector branding and communications. Other organisations recognised at the event included Xcel Energy, Octopus Energy and NRG Energy.
Dragonfly Energy said the award reflects the market growth of its lithium battery systems across sectors including recreational vehicles, marine, off-grid residential energy systems, industrial equipment and heavy-duty transportation. These markets are increasingly transitioning away from traditional lead-acid batteries towards lithium-based energy storage technologies with longer lifetimes and higher efficiency.
According to the company, more than 400,000 lithium batteries have been deployed across North America under the Battle Born brand.
Dragonfly Energy for mobile power and off-grid applications
Dragonfly Energy manufactures lithium battery systems designed primarily for mobile power and off-grid applications, where durability, long cycle life and reduced maintenance are key requirements. The company has positioned its products as a replacement for lead-acid batteries in sectors where electrification and distributed energy systems are expanding.
The Charge North America platform recognises organisations working on brand strategy, communications and leadership within the energy transition. This year’s awards highlighted companies demonstrating measurable impact in clean energy markets as well as innovation in how energy technologies are communicated and brought to market.
