Metal-hydrogen battery company Enervenue announced a master supply agreement with Brazilian energy storage company VedantaESS. Under the terms of the deal, VedantaESS will procure and deploy 525MWh of EnerVenue’s Energy Storage Vessels (ESVs) over the next three years.
Financial details were not disclosed.
This is US company EnerVenue’s first deal in South America. It will increase its supplied energy storage annually, by 75MWh in 2024, 150MWh in 2025 and 300MWh in 2026. VedantaESS will use the ESVs to provide energy, including via distributed generation, isolated microgrids, and commercial, industrial and utility applications.
