Entek employee Al Bailey has been promoted to the newly created position of sales engineer after starting at the battery separator firm as a controls engineer in 1995.
Bailey will assist with mechanical and electrical quoting for turnkey projects, interviewing contractors, and preparing detailed schedules for entire projects from the engineering phase, through equipment and plant build, installations, start-up and training.
Bailey worked on the design of the company’s first extruder for outside sales, previously Entek was only building extruders for use on its own battery separator lines.
He later managed the company’s controls engineering department, and helped open an office in North Carolina during 2006.
