Entek Asia has been named Supplier of the Year 2025 by Japanese energy storage company Energywith.
The award was presented on 27 February 2026 at Energywith’s headquarters in Tokyo. According to the company, the recognition reflects Entek Asia’s performance in areas including product quality, delivery reliability, cost management and environmental initiatives.
The award was accepted by Entek International president Rob Keith and its Asia-division’s managing director Daigo Furuichi from Energywith president Shoichi Hirota.
Entek manufactures battery separators used in a range of energy storage applications, including lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, advanced start-stop systems, conventional automotive batteries, heavy-duty vehicles and stationary energy storage systems.
Entek: more than four decades of experience
The company said it has more than four decades of experience in separator development and production. It also manufactures wet-process lithium-ion separators and supplies process equipment such as twin-screw extruders and material-handling systems used in separator manufacturing.
Energywith was established in 2021 and produces batteries and energy storage systems for automotive, industrial and infrastructure applications. The company is expanding its activities beyond battery manufacturing to offer integrated energy storage solutions aimed at supporting electrification and energy infrastructure development.
The supplier recognition programme highlights companies within Energywith’s supply chain that demonstrate consistent performance across operational, technical and sustainability criteria.
