UK companies Eqonic and Barton Knight Group have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at expanding the deployment of battery energy storage and renewable energy systems across the UK.
Under the agreement, Eqonic will supply battery storage systems, inverters and technical support to Barton Knight, while Barton Knight will provide installation and maintenance services for Eqonic customers. The companies said the arrangement is intended to create an integrated offering covering supply, installation and after-sales support for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
The agreement also gives each company “preferred supplier” status with the other, although both businesses will continue to operate independently and on a non-exclusive basis.
The partners said the collaboration is designed to support wider adoption of renewable energy systems in the UK by combining Eqonic’s energy storage technology with Barton Knight’s installation and maintenance capabilities.
According to the companies, the framework includes joint project assessments, coordinated customer support, compliance with UK safety and regulatory standards, and regular performance reviews.
