Battery Cells & Systems Expo — which will bring together automotive manufacturers, electric utilities, battery system integrators, cell manufacturers and the entire manufacturing supply chain.
Organiser comment: “As you will know, it has always been the case that The Advanced Materials Show, Battery Cells & Systems Expo, Vehicle Electrification Expo and Ceramics UK has been ready to run under stage 3 guidelines – we have invested heavily to ensure we have every possible additional measure to ensure a safe environment for everyone on site.
“Until today, we have also had evidence of strong attendance from domestic buying groups and many highly motivated exhibitors keen to get back to business. Following yesterday’s announcement that the re-opening has been delayed, we feel that whilst we are still able to open the show safely, the experience for our exhibitors is our number one priority and so have taken the decision to re-arrange the dates of the show. We are working with The NEC and we will confirm with you imminently the plan. Please bear with us, we expect to be able to confirm alternative dates by tomorrow and we will ensure you are kept up to date.
“I appreciate your patience with us up to this point, please understand this is an incredibly difficult decision to take but it has been taken in the best interest of all of our exhibitors – we will only run the show when we are able to deliver the show these industries deserve.”

Adam Moore, CEO of Event Partners says: “We had hoped to be pioneers, one of the few event organisers to deliver a safe and much needed face-to-face meeting place for the industry, in the UK this year. We were fully prepared, and hoping, to go ahead in December. However, following the latest announcement about ongoing restrictions as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic we have, in close collaboration with our Founding Partners and Advisory Board, moved swiftly to reschedule these industry events to July 2021. We are confident that through doing this that we will be able to deliver a first-class, global celebration in the heart of UK manufacturing, without compromise.”
A truly unique showcase, companies from around the world will use the show to launch products and demonstrate their technology to an audience of over 4,000 professionals.
Co-located with Vehicle Electrification Expo and The Advanced Materials Show, this will be a highly concentrated two days of networking, lead generation and education featuring the leaders and innovators responsible for shaping the future of this industry.
