After three years as focus topic of Intersolar India, ees India will celebrate its debut as an autonomous exhibition in 2019. It will be held in parallel to Intersolar India and Power2Drive India.
ees India is India’s leading electrical energy storage exhibition will focus on batteries, electrical energy storage technologies and systems. It belongs to the exhibition trio The smarter E India – India’s innovation hub for the new energy world.
The India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) has estimated more than 70GW/200GWh of energy storage opportunity in India by 2022, which is one of the highest in the world.
Out of 70GW, more than 35GW of demand is expected from newer applications like solar integration or electric vehicles, hence there is a sizable opportunity for advanced storage technologies in the new applications. Sales of battery based energy storage receives a boost through-out the country through the lack of reliable grid power, growth in sales of electric rickshaws (e-trikes) and integration of solar PV.
