Battery Council International’s annual convention is the principal North American meeting for the lead battery industry and its suppliers. It combines association business and market presentations with technical sessions, policy discussion, networking and the Power Mart supplier exhibition.
Participants include battery manufacturers, recyclers, equipment makers, materials suppliers, distributors and companies serving automotive, motive-power, stationary and critical-power markets. The programme reflects the lead battery sector’s established closed-loop recycling system while also examining manufacturing improvement, safety, standards, market development and competition from other chemistries. For BESTmag, BCI remains important both for its traditional lead readership and for the technology’s continuing role in vehicles, telecoms, data centres and industrial applications.
