Battery Innovation Days brings together the European battery research community, industry, policymakers and end users to discuss research and innovation priorities across the battery value chain. The event is organised around the work of Batteries European Partnership Association and Battery 2030+, giving it a stronger connection to publicly funded European programmes than a conventional trade exhibition.
Topics extend from advanced materials and cell concepts to manufacturing, digitalisation, safety, sustainability, recycling and the translation of research into industrial products. Policy discussions consider how research funding, regulation and industrial strategy can support a competitive European battery ecosystem. Presentations, interactive sessions and an exhibition are accompanied by opportunities for project consortia and companies to form new collaborations. The sixth edition will be held in hybrid form on 11-12 November 2026 at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm, with both on-site and online participation.
