Battery Japan is the rechargeable-battery section of RX Japan’s Smart Energy Week. The autumn edition brings battery manufacturers together with suppliers of active materials, separators, electrolytes, current collectors, manufacturing machinery, inspection equipment, battery-management systems and recycling technology.
Its setting within a wider renewable-energy exhibition also gives delegates access to adjacent markets including photovoltaics, hydrogen, smart grids, carbon capture and electrified transport. The event is principally a business exhibition, with technical and market sessions running alongside supplier displays and product demonstrations. It is particularly useful for following Japanese cell-development priorities and the country’s equipment and materials supply chains, while also attracting exhibitors and buyers from elsewhere in Asia. The 2026 autumn show is scheduled for Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, from 9 to 11 September. A separate Osaka edition follows in November.
