Battery Japan’s spring exhibition is the largest of the event’s three annual Japanese editions and forms part of Smart Energy Week at Tokyo Big Sight. It showcases rechargeable batteries, active materials, components, cell and pack manufacturing equipment, inspection systems, battery-management technology, safety products, charging, reuse and recycling.
Co-located exhibitions for photovoltaics, hydrogen, smart grids, wind power and decarbonisation connect battery suppliers with renewable-energy and mobility customers. The show is strongly commercial, built around product displays and buyer meetings, but conferences and seminars provide technical and market context. It is a useful venue for following Japanese research and manufacturing trends while also seeing how Chinese, Korean, European and North American suppliers approach the Japanese market. The 2027 spring edition is scheduled for 24-26 March at Tokyo Big Sight.
