Battery Recycling Expo in Frankfurt is a large free-to-attend trade show and conference dedicated to battery recycling, reuse and sustainability. It connects battery producers, recyclers, material processors, equipment suppliers, critical-raw-material companies, logistics providers, researchers and policymakers.
Conference streams cover collection, safety, transport, dismantling, pre-treatment, hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy, direct recycling, black-mass markets, regulation, producer responsibility, design for circularity and second-life decisions. The event is co-located with exhibitions for e-waste, metals and IT asset disposition, creating useful links between battery processing and the wider circular-materials industry. The supplier-led exhibition format supports comparison of industrial equipment and services as well as technical learning. The 2027 edition will return to Messe Frankfurt on 12-13 May.
