CIBF is an international meeting and the biggest battery industry exhibition sponsored by China Industrial Association of Power Sources. It includes an exhibition, technical seminar, information meetings and trade fair.
The first CIBF was held in Tianjin in 1992. CIBF has been held every two years since the second one and has been held six times. In 2003, SARS swept China, delaying the sixth fair to 2004. In 2008, the eighth was held in Tianjin due to the Beijing Olympics. In 2010, CIBF was held in Shenzhen for the first time.
