The International Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS30) takes place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 9 to 11 October 2017. What started out in 1969 as an academic forum for the global exchange of information and ideas on new technologies is today a central meeting place for the entire electric mobility industry.
EVS30 presents a focused and exciting range of topics addressing the top trends in electromobility – ranging from the latest developments in battery research and electric components for the automotive industry to integrated production solutions through to intelligent charging infrastructures and networked mobility concepts.
The EVS is being hosted by the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) and the European Association for Battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (AVERE). In 2017, Messe Stuttgart, together with a network of partners consisting of the German Solar Mobility Association (BSM), Baden-Württemberg International (bw-i), e-mobil BW, Peter Sauber Agency Exhibitions and Conferences Ltd. and Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart (Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation), is organising the event.
The unique USP of EVS 2017 in Stuttgart: battery + storage and f-cell are co-located to EVS30 and complement the world’s largest international event for electromobility with energy-specific dimensions. Key issues include the intelligent sector linking of heat, power and transport, the stationary storage of renewable energies using hydrogen, battery and fuel cell technologies, as well as the electrification of ship propulsions and aircraft engines and (overhead) rail transport.
