Energy Storage 2014 will focus on applications of storage systems and energy storage solutions in relation to the development of the energy industry in Europe. More than 800 expected participants will discuss the political frameworks including the cost effectiveness of energy storage as well as innovative new financing mechanisms. Which applications of energy storage are most needed for the transformation of Europe’s electric power system? What are the benefits and costs for different energy storage solutions and how can they be practically implemented? What kind of political support is necessary? These and many more will be discussed.
These questions will be discussed and answered in Düsseldorf, 25 to 27 March 2014. With 530 participants from 33 countries and 45 high-class exhibitors, the second annual Energy Storage 2013 was a great success and demonstrated the importance of storage solutions for the transformation of our electric power system.
