The Energy Storage Summit Central and Eastern Europe focuses on the commercial deployment of grid-scale storage across Poland and neighbouring markets. Its audience includes project developers, utilities, network operators, investors, lenders, optimisers, aggregators, EPC contractors, battery suppliers and public authorities.
Rather than concentrating on cell science, the programme addresses the conditions needed to take storage projects from pipeline to operation: market design, capacity and ancillary-service revenues, permitting, grid connections, bankability, financing structures, procurement, route-to-market strategy and operational performance. Regional sessions examine how national electricity systems and regulatory frameworks differ, while case studies provide evidence from projects already being built or dispatched. With rapid renewable deployment increasing the need for flexibility in Central and Eastern Europe, the event offers BESTmag a useful bridge between battery technology and project economics. The 2026 summit is scheduled for 6-7 October at the Warsaw Presidential Hotel.
