Founded in 1983, the International Battery Seminar & Exhibit is one of the longest-running annual meetings devoted to battery technology. It combines parallel technical conferences with a large exhibition and attracts cell developers, OEMs, materials and equipment suppliers, pack engineers, researchers, government laboratories and investors.
Coverage extends across automotive, consumer, military, medical, industrial and grid applications, with sessions on materials and chemistry, cell engineering, safety, manufacturing, recycling, market development and emerging technologies. The event has often been used for significant product and research announcements, while its breadth makes it a useful annual snapshot of priorities across the battery sector. The 2027 seminar is scheduled for 15-18 March at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida. Specialist programme streams allow delegates to follow either fundamental advances or application and manufacturing issues.
