The event, organised by ILA, is the only global conference on lead that is run by the industry, for the industry.
The event will be held back-to-back with the International Lead and Zinc Study Group’s Spring Meetings, providing a unique opportunity to interact with governments from many of the world’s major lead producing countries.
ILA is also holding a Lead Occupational Exposure Management Workshop on 22 April and is currently exploring opportunities for industry plant tours.

Mr Yang Chun Ming, Chairman of Chunxing Group, China (one of the world’s largest lead recycling groups) will speak on The Innovation Development of Chunxing’s Secondary Lead Technology including perspectives on the lead market in China.
Farid Ahmed, Principal Analyst (Lead Markets) at Wood Mackenzie will review the lead market in a presentation on E-bikes and new battery technology: pulling the market in two directions?
Otmar Frey, Managing Director Batteries Division, Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elecktronikindustrie e.v. (ZVEI), Germany, will talk on the important topic of Increasing Public and Political Attention on Batteries, sharing experience of recent initiatives in Germany.
