Li-ion Battery China is a Shanghai Metals Market conference examining battery materials, supply chains and market conditions. The programme approaches the industry from both technical and commercial directions, covering nickel, cobalt and lithium resources, pricing mechanisms, cathode and anode developments, policy changes, supply-and-demand imbalances and the effects of new materials on cell cost and performance.
It is designed for mining and refining companies, chemicals and active-material producers, cell manufacturers, recyclers, automotive and storage customers, traders, analysts and investors. China’s scale in battery materials and manufacturing makes the meeting particularly valuable for understanding changes that can quickly affect global availability and pricing. The conference also provides a setting for suppliers and buyers to meet outside the very large exhibition format of CIBF or CLNB. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 15-16 October at the Howard Johnson Agile Plaza in Chengdu, Sichuan.
