Global energy storage firm Fluence Energy has announced that its new automated production facility in Vietnam with ACE Engineering is now complete and open.
The facility has a projected annual capacity of 35GWh with a fully automated production process designed to improve productivity and safety.
It is designed to manufacture energy storage products such as Fluence’s Gridstack Pro line and Smartstack line.
The Gridstack Pro line is grid-scale energy storage for more demanding applications, integrating battery modules, management systems and monitoring equipment under a unified architecture.
The Smartstack line is utility-scale energy storage, which the firm said 30% greater energy density than traditional AC systems.
Both company’s claim a shared vision for innovation in the energy storage sector and are helping to advance the global shift towards renewable energy.
Fluence has projects that have been contracted, deployed and under management in over 50 markets globally.
