Industrial lithium battery developer Flux Power Holding has expanded its national sales effort with the hiring of its first sales professional east of Chicago.
Ryan Greene has been named as the US firm’s eastern regional sales manager, based in Greenville, South Carolina.
Greene is now responsible for sales and marketing functions on the east coast.
Flux develops advanced lithium batteries for industrial applications including electric forklifts and airport ground service equipment.
Flux CEO, Ron Dutt, said: “Ryan knows the forklift market extremely well, including the wide array of costs and challenges that customers face using lead-acid batteries.”
He added the appointment was made to strengthen Flux’s East Coast customer base, including battery distributors, equipment dealers and OEMs.
Greene said: “From my conversations with customers over the past few years, it became increasingly apparent to me that lithium-ion batteries were ideally positioned to become a major energy storage source in the markets I served.
