GoodWe has unveiled the BAT112, a new commercial and industrial (C&I) battery storage system offering 112.6kWh capacity, a 0.9C charge rate, and a 1.1C continuous discharge rate.
First introduced at Intersolar Munich, the system pairs with GoodWe’s ET hybrid inverter for efficient backup, peak shaving, and load optimisation.
The BAT112 is modular and scalable – up to four units can be connected for 450kWh with a 40/50kW inverter. For larger setups, 10 inverters can be combined with the SEC3000C controller to reach 500kW and 4.5MWh.
“Businesses are facing rising electricity costs, an urgent need for energy resilience and setting ambitious decarbonisation goals,” said Jie Zhang, managing director of GoodWe Europe. “The BAT112 system is the ideal solution to these challenges, enabling companies to reduce peak demand charges, maximise solar self-consumption, and ensure uninterrupted operations during grid outages.”
Built with high-quality LiFePO₄ cells and an integrated HVAC system, the BAT112 delivers fast energy response and long life – 6,000 cycles at 90% DOD and 70% EOL. Safety features include full electrical protection, insulation monitoring, and an aerosol fire suppression system. The IP55-rated cabinet is suitable for indoor or outdoor use, with optional C5-M corrosion resistance for harsh environments.
