Elke Oschmann, the matriarch of family-owned Batterie Füllungs Systeme (BFS), has died.
Elkie was the widow of Klaus Oschmann, who founded BFS in 1981 after receiving the patent for automatic lead battery watering plug.
Following his death in 1986, Elke took over the management of the BFS and Bulk Handling Oschmann (the company Klaus founded in 1975).
