Hipower, Spanish genset OEM Himoinsa’s US subsidiary, is to hold a convention for its US and Canadian distributors at its Murcia headquarters on 10-14 June.
The guests are scheduled to visit the metal processing and treatment plants, as well as Himoinsa’s assembly facilities in Spain, so that its distributors can learn about the manufacturing process of the company’s gensets and lighting towers.
The guests, who will be staying at the La Manga golf club resort, will attend a day of presentations during which the President of Hipower, Rafael Acosta, will talk about the company’s situation and the positioning of its product in the North American market.
Alongside him, other executives from Himoinsa, such as Patrick Witte, Vice President of Global Rental Accounts, Marcelo Oliveira, Sales Director of Hipower and Darryl Rider, National Product Support Manager, will talk about the ‘Global Positioning of HIMOINSA throughout the World’, the ‘Main Sales Strategies for the Distributors’, the ‘Post-sales System in North America’ and the ‘Hipower Quality Policy in the U.S. and Canada’.
The founding President of Himoinsa, Francisco Gracia, and the company’s executive directors, Lidia Gracia and Francisco Gracia, will be present at the welcome dinner which will take place on Monday 10 June, at the La Manga Club resort.
One of the companies invited to the convention is FPT –FIAT Industrial-, one of Himoinsa’s leading engine suppliers, whose representatives, among others, Fabio Berton, Power Generation International OEMs Manager, and Stefano Anselmi, Power Generation Product Manager, will show several types of latest generation engines and will give a presentation on both the sales- and product-related aspects of ‘Tier III and Tier IV engines’.
One of the days will be given over to carrying out a SWOT analysis of the Hipower product in the North American market. The companies invited to the convention will have the chance to take part in this analysis in order to gain feedback on the needs presented by the market and the range of products offered by Himoinsa and its US unit.
