Himoinsa has unveiled a range of diesel and gas generators with a power range from 20 to 100 kVA, at 50 and 60 Hz, for the Central and South American markets.
The region is of growing importance to Himoinsa, according to its executive director, Francisco Gracia, who said: “Over the coming years, Latin America will become one of the fastest-growing regions for our company.”
He added that the company is prioritising and investing in the region as a valuable emerging market; this is why it has showcased its new range to representatives of major companies from Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Argentina.
Himoinsa has a production centre in Brazil and subsidiary companies in Argentina, Mexico and Panama to ensure a strong foothold in the region and grow its market share.
Countries such as Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia are showing great interest in gas generation. Himoinsa’s gas gensets are well received in Latin America, where the industrial sector accounts for 45% of the company’s sales.
