Hithium and Turbo Energy have announced the deployment of an AI-enabled battery energy storage project across 15 industrial facilities in Europe, combining 366 MWh of storage capacity with AI-driven energy management.
The project, unveiled at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, marks the first deployment under the companies’ strategic partnership announced earlier this year. It will serve a major European industrial group, with 21 Hithium battery containers, each providing 6.25 MWh of storage, delivered so far. According to the companies, more than 130 MWh of storage capacity has already been installed.
The battery systems use Hithium’s 4-hour, 1175 Ah LFP battery technology and integrate Turbo Energy’s AI-driven optimisation platform for the first time at industrial scale.
According to the companies, the software continuously optimises the interaction between renewable generation, battery storage and industrial electricity consumption, using predictive analytics, demand forecasting and real-time operational data to manage energy flows.

The companies said the deployment transforms conventional battery storage into a software-defined energy infrastructure capable of coordinating renewable generation, storage and industrial demand across multiple sites in real time.
Hithium and Turbo Energy said the project also represents an important milestone in their strategic partnership, with plans to accelerate the deployment of AI-enabled commercial and industrial energy storage systems in international markets.
