German lead-acid, lithium-ion and nickel-cadmium battery manufacturer Hoppecke Baterien has boosted the UK arm of its business with five senior-level appointments.
The new managers are part of a continuing major restructuring programme at Hoppecke Industrial Batteries, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The new members of staff, who are a combination of internal and external appointments, follow the appointment of Jason Howlett as Hoppecke’s Managing Director for the UK last September.
Stuart Browne is now Service Director; Andy Neville joins as Operations & Supply Chain Manager; Gus Whyte as Sales Director; Dave Summerfield as Director of Business Development UK and International Key Accounts Germany; and Sarah Wheat is the company’s first UK Human Resources Manager.
“I recently announced that we are in the process of a substantial investment programme in the infrastructure of Hoppecke in the UK and these senior appointments are an essential part of that policy,” said Hoppecke CEO Dr Marc Zoellner.
