Intersolar Mexico will return to Centro Banamex, Mexico City, from 2–4 September 2025 for its sixth edition, bringing together more than 400 national and international companies and over 10,000 professionals from across the solar, energy storage, and clean technology sectors.
The event coincides with a landmark US$8.177 billion investment by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) to expand Mexico’s transmission grid– setting the stage for deeper renewable integration and new industrial opportunities.
“This year we will bring together more than 400 national and international companies presenting a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for the industrial, commercial and governmental sectors, with the goal of optimising processes and strengthening competitiveness. We also expect more than 10,000 professionals from diverse industries to attend,” said Matilde Saldivar, show director at Informa Markets.
Held alongside The Green Expo and Aquatech Mexico, Intersolar Mexico will feature a robust conference programme with more than 30 experts offering technical, business, academic, and policy insights. According to spokesperson Marisol Oropeza, the conference will serve as a key platform to foster dialogue on Mexico’s energy sector and promote deeper discussions on solar industry development.
Free-access sessions at the Intersolar Stage and Innovation Forum will showcase emerging technologies, while daily workshops will cover solar thermal, photovoltaics and storage. Valeria Amezcua, president of the Mexican Agrovoltaic Network, highlighted agrovoltaics as a holistic climate solution, and Félix Delgado from Wood Mackenzie noted Mexico’s opportunity to add up to 16.7GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
Organised by Solar Promotion International, FMMI and Informa Markets, the event also champions sustainability through low-impact exhibition design and programming focused on clean energy and responsible industry practices.
