Finland-based independent battery system supplier, IONCOR, has introduced the Energy Pack Cubic, an LFP‑based battery system developed for heavy‑duty vehicles.
The new unit expands the company’s modular Energy Pack portfolio, which also includes the Energy Pack and Energy Pack Long. All systems are designed and manufactured in Europe and address differing operational and spatial requirements.
The Energy Pack range is built around a modular architecture that allows users to scale capacity and performance to suit project demands and installation constraints. This approach is intended to support straightforward deployment, integration and future expansion.
For applications where thermal management, space and system integration are critical, Ioncor uses a Cell‑to‑Pack architecture that incorporates cells directly into the structural design. This reduces system mass and improves efficiency.

The Energy Pack provides a compact format with up to 300 Wh/l and 46.6 kWh, suited to applications such as peak shaving and renewable integration. The Energy Pack Long offers 79 kWh and up to 290 Wh/l for longer‑duration requirements in buses and trucks.
The Energy Pack Cubic introduces a space‑efficient option for off‑highway machinery, delivering up to 265 Wh/l and designed for installations where geometry and packaging limitations dominate. All systems use Ioncor’s in‑house BMS to support performance, safety and lifecycle management.
