Battery firm Leoch International Technology has agreed to purchase lead-acid facilities and products from fellow Chinese companies Guangdong Marshell, Shanghai Dongyu, and Shanghai Dongming.
The Rmb36 million ($5.62million) deal includes environmental protection, manufacture and inspection facilities for lead-acid batteries and related products.
The sold companies were wholly owned by chairman Dong Li, who founded Leoch International Technology Ltd., and serves as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Leoch has commenced to update and upgrade its lead-acid battery facilities in accordance with the environmental requirements in the People’s Rupublic of China.
LEOCH enterprise has three production factories in Jiangsu, Guangdong, Anhui in China, and two in Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
It also has two research and development centers in Guangdong and Jiangsu.
