Battery developer LiNa Energy has appointed auto industry expert Richard Dauch as a special adviser.
Dauch will support LiNa as it aims to implement and achieve its strategic goals of commercialising its solid-state sodium battery technology.
Dauch was most recently CEO of vehicle powertrain firm Delphi Technologies, leading its sale to BorgWarner for $3.3 billion in 2020.
The appointment follows Dr. Ainara Aguadero joining the company’s Expert Advisory Panel in February. Aguadero is a Reader in Energy Materials at the Department of Materials, Imperial College, London. She has extensive knowledge in the materials used in batteries, fuel cells and electrolysers.
The previous month, the company appointed James Morrish as its chief financial officer.
Morrish is charged with using his leadership skills and commercial finance expertise to support LiNa’s strategic development as it looks to commercialise its battery technology.
